How to clean off Barnacles:
~ barnacles can be hard to remove
~ try using a tool like a stiff brush, a grill or even a tooth brush
~seashells debris that is hard can be chipped off with a chisel or a wirebrush
How to bleach Seashells:
~ make up a solution of bleach and water , half and half
~ Soak the seashells for cleaning in it for a couple of hours
~ larger seashells may require longer, tiny sea shells maybe bleached faster
~ Just be sure to remove them when the "periostracum" is gone. The periostracum is the flaky, leathery covering that covers most live seashells.

Shining: If you want to give your seashells a nice finish, you can wipe them with a mineral or baby oil.
